European seminar

The EGTC Amphictyony in collaboration with ALDA (European Association for Local Democracy), of which it is a member, offered online training to its members and not only on 05/11/24, on the topic "Introduction to EU Project Development & Introduction to the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) and the main EU-funding mechanisms", as part of a training cycle on EU Project Development and EU Funding Programs (CERV, Erasmus+, Creative Europe, Life, Interreg, ESF, Horizon, AMIF). It provided executives and members of the organization with knowledge and skills related to the development and financing of European projects.

Participants are introduced to the basics of EU project development, understanding the structure and conditions for submitting proposals for EU-supported projects. In addition, the section on the Multiannual Financial Framework explains how the EU budget framework is structured, as well as the operation and targeting of the main funding programs, such as Erasmus+, CERV, Horizon, etc.

Through this approach, participants understand the possibility of financing different types of projects, which is extremely important for the development of local and cross-border initiatives. The course offers the foundations for developing the skills required to manage European projects, providing knowledge of the objectives, processes and strategies required to successfully implement a funded project. It is part of a wider cycle of trainings aimed at familiarizing participants with European programs and the project planning process, allowing them to make the best use of the available EU funding tools.
