On the 27th to the 29th of May, Ε.G.T.C. AMPHICTYONY held a meeting of its members in Thessaloniki. The topic of the meeting was: " Ε.G.T.C. AMPHICTYONY »Position and Role in the multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027. An opportunity was given for a discussion with all the Mayors - members of Ε.G.T.C An in-depth acquaintance between the members but also the position, the speech, the role and the work of Ε.G.T.C. shortly before the General Assembly. An encounter away from the torment of everyday life.
Ε.G.T.C. considered
that it is necessary to be directly informed about the important steps to date
in the course and the establishment of Ε.G.T.C. AMPHICTYONY, as a pre-eminent tool of
intangible and material development, beyond borders and any political, social
and economic prejudices. This is evidenced by the emergence of Ε.G.T.C.. as interlocutors with the
competent national and European local, national and European policy-making
bodies. Their recognition as factors of economic and social cohesion at cross-border,
interregional, transnational and overall European level.
